"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

As someone with a deep love and respect for the art, the man and the enigma of Ian Curtis I must say that I find your photograph "Ian Curtis" offensive. How do you think Ian's wife, Deborah or their child would feel to see your photograph with a description ,"We heard Ian Curtis killed himself again, in your bed." Show a little sympathy and respect. Just because someone is famous doesn't mean you can glorify their death like this. Maybe that wasn't your intention but it comes across that way. I fail to see how your description at all contributes to any understanding or aesthetic effect of this photograph. This is horrible.
